About Alessandro

Alex has served as a Councillor for Cockfosters in Enfield since 2014 and is the Leader of the Opposition on Enfield Council.

​

As Councillor he has been a strong voice for residents against ill-thought-through LTNs imposed against their will, and wants to continue campaigning for the removal of unwanted LTNs during his time as an Assembly Member.

 

He has also spent much time campaigning for the right homes in the right places: Alex believes that ugly tower blocks are inappropriate for low-rise residential areas and wants to see greater resident involvement in the planning process.

 

As a conservative, Alex believes that low taxes are good for families and businesses, and will lobby for Council Tax to be kept as low as possible.
